Soda ash for detergent
Light soda ash is the usual alkaline builder in powder detergent, used with surfactants and, in many formulas, sodium silicate. We export soda ash only — not sodium silicate. Lower bulk density than dense soda ash, so it blends and dissolves readily.
Dye-bath alkalinity, water softening and pH adjustment.

What buyers ask us about light.
When should I order light soda ash instead of dense?
Detergent, textile and water-treatment buyers usually specify light soda ash. Glass plants usually specify dense / heavy soda ash (bulk density ≥ 0.90 g/mL). The light-grade plant COA does not list a bulk-density limit. Send the spec you are replacing and we confirm the grade.
Is this food-grade soda ash?
No. This page is industrial light soda ash. We do not list a food-grade soda ash SKU. The table is the GB/T 210-2022 Class II superior (优等品) limit from the plant COA; the lot COA governs the shipment.
How do you quote light soda ash FOB per ton?

What marks are on the bags?
Malan is a producing-plant brand that may appear on bag markings. Current soda ash plant COAs also show the Zhongtian (中天) mark. Yizhou Chem is the exporter, not the brand owner.
What is the MOQ?
10 MT. Full-container programs preferred. Mixed loading with other grades in one FCL is routine.
