IFRC Halal on the plant certificate covers SINOTRONA soda ash and MALAN sodium bicarbonate. Current soda ash plant COAs may show the Zhongtian mark. We confirm the mark on the lot before loading. Issued for Inner Mongolia Berun Yingen Chemical Co., Ltd., not for Yizhou Chem. These are watermarked, view-only copies; originals are shown on request with an RFQ.

Dense Soda Ash is made by Inner Mongolia Berun Yingen Chemical Co., Ltd., the Alxa Yingen plant (Alxa League, Inner Mongolia), China. Yizhou Chem is not the manufacturer or the factory: we are an export trading company in Hohhot that buys dense soda ash direct from that plant, with no other trader in between, and ships it from Tianjin Xingang.
Wholesale orders start at one full 20′ container (1 × 20′ FCL), and one container may mix grades. We quote FOB Tianjin Xingang by default, and CFR or CIF to your port on request, within 24 hours. Lead time is 10–15 days after receipt of the deposit or L/C. A 500 g sample with the matching plant COA is free of charge before a first order.

Is dense soda ash the same as heavy soda ash?
Yes. Dense soda ash and heavy soda ash are the same industrial sodium carbonate grade — higher bulk density than light soda ash, used mainly in glass.
What is the difference between dense and light soda ash?
Dense (heavy) soda ash is specified at bulk density ≥ 0.90 g/mL and particle size (180 µm residue) ≥ 70%, and is the usual choice for glass batches. Light soda ash is the low-density grade for detergent, textile and water treatment; its plant COA does not list a bulk-density limit. Send the spec you are replacing and we match the grade.
Is this food-grade soda ash?
This page is industrial dense soda ash. The plant technical data sheet for dense soda ash lists glass, chemical, detergent, metallurgy, paper and water-treatment uses, and no food-industry use. The plant TDS for light soda ash does list food-industry use — ask us about that grade. Is there a trade investigation affecting soda ash imports into India?
Yes. India’s Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) initiated a safeguard investigation into soda ash imports from all countries on 16 March 2026 (case QR/OI/001/2026), on an application by the Alkali Manufacturers Association of India that asks for quantitative restrictions on imports for four years. DGTR scheduled the oral hearing for 29 July 2026. The final determination is expected around 16 November 2026 (US International Trade Administration estimate); by the check date DGTR had published no findings and DGFT had notified no safeguard measure on soda ash. If you import into India, ask us for the current status before you fix a shipment schedule. Status checked 24 October 2026.
