内蒙古一周商贸有限公司 (Inner Mongolia Yizhou Trading Co., Ltd., "Yizhou Chem", "we") operates this website to support inquiries and trade communication with our export customers. This page explains what information we collect through the site and how we use it.
Information we collect
When you submit the inquiry form, we collect the information you provide: your name, company name, business email, buyer type, destination country or port, requested product and grade, quantity, and any message you write. We do not ask for payment information, and we do not require an account to contact us.
With each inquiry, the site also sends a few details about how you reached us: the page you sent the form from, the first page you opened on this site, the website that referred you (we keep only its domain name) and any campaign tags in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content; for a search ad these name the campaign, the keyword and the ad). When another website or a campaign link brought you here, these details are kept in your browser's local storage and used for up to 30 days, so they still apply if you send an inquiry from another tab or on a later visit; an older record is ignored, and deleted the next time you open this site. Otherwise the first page is kept in your browser's session storage until you close the tab. These details stay in your browser and are sent to us only when you submit an inquiry.
When you open the site through the link in one of our emails (yizhouchem.com/m), we set a cookie named yz-entry that marks the visit as coming from an email. It holds no personal data, and our server does not read or store it, but like any cookie your browser sends it with its requests to this site until it is deleted: on the first page you open (at once, if an earlier visit is already recorded), or after 30 minutes at most if scripts or storage are blocked.
How we use it
Inquiry information is used to respond to your request, prepare a quote, and follow up on your order — it is entered into our internal customer relationship system so our trade desk can track and reply to it. A copy of each inquiry, including the origin details above, is also delivered to our trade desk by email through an email service provider that sends the message on our behalf. We use the origin details only to understand which pages and campaigns bring inquiries. We do not sell or rent your information to third parties. We do not use it for advertising.
Analytics
We use aggregate, privacy-preserving website analytics (Vercel Web Analytics) to understand how the site is used: page views, general traffic patterns, clicks on the WhatsApp button, and anonymous counts of quote-form events: whether a form was sent, failed to send, or was stopped because a field was empty or invalid, with the page, the product chosen and the destination country. Our server's log also notes each form's result and destination country. These records never include your name, email address, company, phone number or message, and they do not identify you individually.
The WhatsApp button on this site opens a chat directly in WhatsApp, operated by WhatsApp/Meta under their own privacy policy. Messages you send us there are used the same way as an email inquiry — to respond to you and follow up on your order.
Data retention and your requests
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to support the business relationship. If you would like us to update or delete your information, email us at sales@yizhouchem.com and we will act on it promptly.
