Yizhou Chem is a trading company in Hohhot and an authorized distributor of Berun, China’s largest soda ash and baking soda producer by capacity. We buy soda ash and sodium bicarbonate at source from Berun’s supply plant, Inner Mongolia Berun Yingen Chemical Co., Ltd. in Alxa League, Inner Mongolia, with no monthly volume cap, and handle the export: grade, packing, the plant’s batch COA matched to the bag markings, and the shipping documents.
For Bangladesh the volume products are light soda ash, the alkaline builder in powder detergent, and dense soda ash for glass. Feed grade sodium bicarbonate (GB 7300.801-2019) for poultry and dairy feed mills, and industrial grade for detergent, are quoted alongside.

Light soda ash goes into powder detergent as the alkaline builder. It ships in 50 kg PE-lined woven bags or 1,000 / 1,250 kg jumbo bags. The plant TDS gives a shelf life of 24 months in dry, sealed storage, the basis for the expiry date that bagged imports must show (see the import box below). Industrial sodium bicarbonate for detergent formulation can share the container. If you buy to resell to detergent plants, the import rules require your name, address, e-TIN and BIN on the bag marking. Tell us your marking needs with your RFQ.
Dense soda ash ships only in 1,000, 1,250 or 1,350 kg jumbo bags, so plan jumbo-bag handling at the plant; the lot COA states the actual values, Fe and NaCl included. Both soda ash grades are quoted to GB/T 210-2022 Class II superior grade: total alkali (dry basis) ≥ 99.2%, NaCl ≤ 0.70%, Fe ≤ 0.0035%. Dense soda ash adds bulk density ≥ 0.90 g/mL and 180 µm residue ≥ 70%. If you are replacing another supplier, send their specification and we match the grade.
Feed grade NaHCO₃ to GB 7300.801-2019 for poultry and dairy feed mills, and industrial grade for detergent formulation, in 25 kg bags or jumbo bags. Food grade (GB 1886.2-2015) is quoted on request. Mixed-grade loading in one container is routine: each grade keeps its own batch numbers, bag markings and COA.
Bangladesh has not reported 2025 import figures to UN Comtrade. Its trading partners reported shipping about 380,900 t of soda ash (HS 2836.20) to Bangladesh in 2025; main suppliers by tonnage: China 59% · India 19% · Pakistan 10%.
