Yizhou Chem is a trading company in Hohhot and an authorized distributor of Berun, China’s largest soda ash and baking soda producer by capacity. We buy soda ash and sodium bicarbonate at source from Berun’s supply plant, Inner Mongolia Berun Yingen Chemical Co., Ltd. in Alxa League, Inner Mongolia, with no monthly volume cap, and handle the export: grade, packing, the plant’s batch COA matched to the bag markings, and the shipping documents.
Dense soda ash ships in 1,000, 1,250 or 1,350 kg jumbo bags; there is no 25 kg or 50 kg packing on this grade. Light soda ash ships in 50 kg PE-lined woven bags or 1,000 / 1,250 kg jumbo bags.
Quotes are valid for 7 calendar days. Under FOB, CFR and CIF the importer clears Indian customs, so duties and any trade measure in force on the import date are for the importer’s account. The trade-policy box below summarises the current position; check it with your customs house agent (CHA) before you open the L/C.
Dense soda ash is the usual grade for container and float glass. Light soda ash serves powder detergent, textile processing, water treatment and chemical manufacturing. Both soda ash grades are quoted to GB/T 210-2022 Class II superior grade: total alkali (dry basis) ≥ 99.2%, NaCl ≤ 0.70%, Fe ≤ 0.0035%. Dense soda ash adds bulk density ≥ 0.90 g/mL and 180 µm residue ≥ 70%. If you are replacing another supplier, send their specification and we match the grade.
Food grade (GB 1886.2-2015), feed grade (GB 7300.801-2019) and industrial grade sodium bicarbonate, in 25 kg bags or jumbo bags. The safeguard, anti-dumping and minimum-price items in the trade-policy box concern soda ash (HS 2836.20), not sodium bicarbonate (HS 2836.30); the BIS item covers both. For food grade, FSSAI import clearance sits with your importer of record; we supply the batch COA and label data it needs.
