Yizhou Chem is a trading company in Hohhot and an authorized distributor of Berun, China’s largest soda ash and baking soda producer by capacity. We buy soda ash and sodium bicarbonate at source from Berun’s supply plant, Inner Mongolia Berun Yingen Chemical Co., Ltd. in Alxa League, Inner Mongolia, with no monthly volume cap, and handle the export: grade, packing, the plant’s batch COA matched to the bag markings, and the shipping documents.
For Japan we lead with industrial sodium bicarbonate and with feed grade sodium bicarbonate to GB 7300.801-2019, both in 25 kg bags or 1,000 / 1,100 / 1,250 kg jumbo bags; your company imports them as the importer of record. Dense soda ash in 1,000, 1,250 or 1,350 kg jumbo bags and light soda ash in 50 kg PE-lined woven bags or 1,000 / 1,250 kg jumbo bags, for detergent and chemical users, are quoted alongside. Food grade sodium bicarbonate (GB 1886.2-2015) is quoted on inquiry.

Industrial grade NaHCO₃ (total alkalinity ≥ 99.0%, chloride ≤ 0.40%) for detergent and other technical uses. Feed grade NaHCO₃ to the feed-additive standard GB 7300.801-2019 (total alkalinity ≥ 99%) for feed mills and premix makers; the importer files the feed-additive notification described below. Both grades ship in 25 kg bags or 1,000 / 1,100 / 1,250 kg jumbo bags, 25–27 MT per 20′ FCL.
Dense soda ash has the higher bulk density and less dust in handling, and ships in jumbo bags only; light soda ash is the lighter powder for detergent and chemical processes. Both soda ash grades are quoted to GB/T 210-2022 Class II superior grade: total alkali (dry basis) ≥ 99.2%, NaCl ≤ 0.70%, Fe ≤ 0.0035%. Dense soda ash adds bulk density ≥ 0.90 g/mL and 180 µm residue ≥ 70%. If you are replacing another supplier, send their specification and we match the grade. Both come from the producing plant’s natural soda process. Mixed-grade loading in one container is routine: each grade keeps its own batch numbers, bag markings and COA.

| Import duty | Basic/MFN customs duty on sodium bicarbonate (2836.30): 3.9%, the WTO rate (general rate 4.6%). On soda ash (2836.20): the general rate of 1.68 yen/kg or the WTO rate of 5.5%, whichever is lower. With an RCEP certificate of origin, which we provide, sodium bicarbonate enters duty-free and soda ash pays 2.5% or 0.76 yen/kg, whichever is lower.
